Kristen E. Shaw

Certified Public Accountant Kristen Shaw joined Berk Cleveland Rathmell Wealth Strategies LLC in October 2011.  Kristen is an Indianapolis native with a heart for financial planning.

Kristen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Samford University.  She was an accounting major and earned magna cum laude honors upon graduation.  While at Samford, Kristen worked as an academic tutor, was a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Committee, Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa.  She was also awarded several academic scholarships.

Prior to joining BCR Wealth, Kristen was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Birmingham as an audit associate.

Kristen is active in the community through her volunteer work for United Way of Central Alabama and her local church.  She has also volunteered with the Midwest Food Bank in Indianapolis and an orphanage in Manila, Philippines. Kristen’s ultimate dream is to help all individuals, regardless of their income, to better understand their finances.

Kristen’s husband, Joel, is also an Indianapolis native and Samford graduate. He is employed locally with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
