Combining a love of working with people and numbers, Marshall joined Berk Cleveland Rathmell Wealth Strategies LLC in February 2009. A Certified Public Accountant, he has always been interested in financial planning, a career path that satisfied his desire to help others while using his skills and experience to their fullest potential.
Marshall has differentiated himself in the Wealth Management field by growing his practice helping young professionals that want to gain control of their finances so that at some point they will be able to choose to work if they want to but not because they have to.
Marshall is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He received both his Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Alabama.. While at the University Alabama, Marshall was inducted into numerous organizations including Jasons, Beta Alpha Psi, Order of Omega and The University of Alabama Student Judicial Board.
Prior to joining BCR Weatlh Strategies, Marshall served as the accounting policy manager at Compass Bank and as an auditor at Deloitte.
Marshall enjoys giving back to the community. He is on the executive boards of Alabama Goodwill Industries and the Birmingham Jefferson County American Red Cross as well as volunteering his time as a financial representative to the United Way.
Marshall and his wife, Dr. Susan Reneau Rathmell, a clinical psychologist, have a young son, John Marshall and a baby daughter Amelia.
